What is the purpose of the VAF Destiny Award

Designed to uplift the next generation as they pursue training, education or research in the Ukrainian arts the, Destiny Award is intended to inspire a future generation as our lost alumni inspired us through their passion of Ukrainian Dance.

 

Who is soliciting this donation

Donations to the Destiny Award will be made to the Volya Alumni Foundation

 

How will the funds be used

Contributions will be used to invest into low risk funds and the earned interest will be used to fund recipients of the Destiny Award each year so your initial donation will provide opportunity in perpetuity.

 

What costs will be incurred managing the award

As the VAF is all volunteer managed, the only fees we expect to incur would be from fees related to donation collection and investment portfolio fees.

 

What is the address / Place of incorporation

The Volya Alumni Foundation is incorporated in Alberta as a non-profit and has applied for Provincial Registered Charity status and Federal Registered Charity status as of Spring 2026.

 

Does the VAF use a fund raising business.

No.  At this time all fund raising is done by our volunteer members.
